Meet Famasi

Founded in 2021, Famasi connects individuals and businesses with pharmacies, simplifying access to quality healthcare. Recognized as a promising startup, Famasi participated in the i3 program and TechCrunch Startup Battlefield.

This was the challenge

Famasi urgently needed to equip 65% of their remote workforce with laptops (10 total Laptops). Budget constraints made purchasing all devices upfront a challenge. 

Even more pressing was the need to get these devices and deliver it in 7 days - time was running out but they were searching for flexible payment solutions to solve this problem.

Understanding Famasi's needs, we presented a solution that fit perfectly: our monthly installment plan for devices. This flexible option alleviated the upfront financial burden of acquiring work tools, allowing Famasi to seamlessly integrate the equipment they desired without compromising their cash flow.

Flexible Pricing with Installment Payment
We solved Famasi’s budget constraint problem with an Installment payment option which allowed them to achieve their employee equipment goal without heavy financial burden. This plan spread across 6 months meant that they only had to pay a tiny fraction of their total fee at a time.

Robust Market-Place
When Famasi came to us, they knew they wanted Laptops but they had not decided what type of Laptops they wanted so we gave them access to our marketplace where they were able to see different types of devices, their features and prices - to help them understand what they could be getting by choosing one type of device over another. We also made recommendations on the best range of devices based on information about the team members and their roles (which determines how they will use their Laptop).

Insurance for all their Laptops
One big disadvantage of equipping a large team with Laptops is that you run the risk of losing money when these devices are poorly managed with no plan against situations like: theft and other natural or man-made disasters. This is why as part of our service offering, we had all Famasi’s Laptops insured against natural and man-made disasters. This way, Famasi won’t lose money replacing an employee Laptop if damaged or lost in an accident.
